About MITTIN: Clean Flat Surfaces
The Michigan Transition To Independence (MITTIN) is a virtual life skills library of dynamic modules that foster the development of independent living skills in the home and community. Designed to support special education transition-related instruction, these virtual resources are free and available to parents, schools, educators, and students in Michigan. MITTIN is a partnership of the Michigan Association of Administrators of Special Education (MAASE), Michigan Council for Exceptional Children (MCEC), Great Lakes Reality Labs (GLRL), and Public Policy Associates (PPA).

"MITTIN: Clean Flat Surfaces" is not really a game... it's a para-educational mobile app where you are supposed to "learn" how to clean things if you're ever allowed to live on your own. And, I'm sure I'm not the first to be saying this, if you have to rely on a crappy mobile app to learn how to clean stuff, you probably should never live on your own, for your own health and safety. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs to pretend they're mobile phones or Commodore 64s. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. This is the best, most relaxing cleaning simulation I have ever seen. I only wish there was more. I am so relaxed I feel like taking a nap and will definitely be playing through this many more times. Fun and very satisfying!2 found this helpful
