- Craft the terrain, lay out scenery to make your world beautiful, raise new land from the seafloor; the world is yours to craft!
- Design the appearance and the combat abilities of your game's player classes, monsters, and more. Buff and nerf classes at your whim!
- Lay out villages and towns, roads, questing areas, and even individual quests with quest chains to keep your subscribers busy!

Manage your Community
- Catch cheaters and ban them (or don't; as long as they keep paying their subscription fees, do you really care what they do?)
- Issue warnings to misbehaving subscribers to keep them from bothering other players
- Assist subscribers who become stuck, or hire game masters to do it for you!

Profit!
- Be a traditional boxed product with subscription fees, or go for a Free-to-Play strategy and instead set microtransactions on potions, weapons, or other goods and services!

You're basically making your own game. The sky's the limit when it comes to how creative you can be :)1 found this helpful
+ Fun, in a watch-your-ant-farm kind of way + A lot of customizability - This game is about 80% sitting there just AFK waiting for your meager cash to grow enough to buy the next too-expensive tech and then back to waiting a long time. It's almost an idle game. In addition to the cash influx being too low and the tech being too expensive, the tech is also all broken up into separate pieces with no rhyme or reason. For example, you pay x amount and wait a while for your devs to research the tech Friend List. Then after you finally implement it in your game, suddenly you have to pay another whopping $40k to research Instant Messaging and wait a long time for your devs to research it. ???? Why is this not considered de facto part of Friend List? Were your players just going to STARE at their friend lists and NOT message the people on them??? Ridiculous.1 found this helpful
love this game, simple as. its got all the elements you want for a mmo sim and more core components get added now and then. if you want to get sadistic towards your playerbase, that's possible too. it's quite cozy for a sandbox game. there was an update that bricked my save, but the dev hotfixed the bug for the sake of fixing a handful of people's maps. im used to a developer just throwing my hundreds of hours of work away for a small update, but not in this case. major props to the guy and the feedback system involved. it might be slow growing, but the dev cares
IDK another game that does this. I run a fictional MMORPG. I get to design the classes, areas, quests, and everything else that comes with running an actual fake MMO. I mean it could be a different game but... then it wouldn't be this now would it?
I must give a reason so I guess it's addicting and runs well
8/10 I absolutely adore this game. As a lover of management and tycoon games as well as a player of just about every big MMO on the market this game really scratches an itch I've had for a long time. As a lot of others have mentioned this game is a sloooow burn. I feel like it has gotten a lot of unjustified hate for what it is. If you aren't looking for a game that you can sink a lot (100+ easily) of hours in one save then this is not the game for you. If you are looking for a solid management game where you constantly improve and upgrade your game and world for many hours, then you've arrived where you need to be. It definitely needs some more content and improvements, but it is in early access, by a solo dev and is constantly being improved with a roadmap, with workshop content on said roadmap, to boot. I can't wait to see what this game has in store for future updates and will continue to enjoy building my world in the meantime.
