Monmusu Gladiator is a casual deckbuilding fighter with roguelike elements. You essentially play a character and keep moving forward in levels with deckbuilding elements between levels. There isn't too much to the game, and it is actually quite simple once you get the hang of it (after the first battle or so). I found it reasonably enjoyable, though it does lack some replayability since it is so easy. Even on the highest difficulties, battles could be autoed by the end, assuming you had been diligently upgrading between battles. Overall, I enjoyed the game, and it gave multiple hours of fun. Feel free to give it a shot if you like this genre of game.

The whole game loop is way different than I thought it would be, sadly for the worse. You have stats, basically ATK, DEF, special ATK and DEF, and HP. You play cards to level those stats up and either land on a field with a mob or reach a forces upgrade or boss fight. There are "artifacts" but those are just stat upgrades 99% of the time without influencing the core gameplay whatsoever. Combat is also not Cards-Game-Like but rather similar to a semi-auto-battler for your phone. It just feels way too repetitive, even after 1,5h of playtime. Music is generic, shops are unexciting, it feels unpolished etc. If you are REALLY into games like this, you might spend 5 bucks and be happy - I am not though.

Cute game for a cheap price, has some fun unique monster girls. Gameplay is abit simplistic, and doesn't have much large variance, but it's perfect if you're looking for a fun little experience

Cute little game. Hella cheap. Just threw some time into it and got almost all the achievements. Not hard since half of them are for beating the game on the 2nd hardest difficulty with so and so. And once you get a feel for the game that's not hard. At all. IMO. Worth the money I put into it.

Train and pamper your monster girl hare-... gladiators, before sending them off to beat the snot out of other monster girls! Easy to get into, w/ plenty of card, skill, and artifact synergies to discover and keep you coming back. Deckbuilding paired w/ board game tile management and active combat make for a unique, addictive, and fun combination. Difficulty rating 6 has bite to it, if you want it rough. The writing and art is amusing and form a cute and charming aesthetic. The free expansion pack and collab cards are also a nice treat.
