About Mooch
The story begins in the underground world ruled by the Puppet Master. The evil lord creates puppets, enslaves them and forces them to work in his mines. They do not realize that beyond the narrow corridors of their mines, there is a much bigger and more colorful world. One of the slaves named Blink, accidentally discovers that outside the mines is a place full of light, fresh air and freedom - an outside world. He decides to take matters into his own hands and escape from the mines with his friend Tula. Unfortunately, they were captured by the machine, and Tula was torn apart. Pieces of her soul have scattered through the underground world. Blink has been thrown into the prison where he awaits his doom. This is not the end of the story, it is just the beginning, which will lead to many unusual events.
Embark on a great adventure as the little puppet. You play as Blink who manages to escape from his prison cell. This little guy's mission is to collect pieces of Tula's soul and bring her back to life. The end of the story depends on the player's decisions.
Watch your every step. Even passages that seem safe may hide deadly traps. Puppet Masters' machines are constantly lurking for the hero and his only way to survive is to outsmart them. Mooch is an arcade game where players must rely on their reflex, agility and tactical skills.

Somebody sat down one day and said to themselves, I wonder what would happen if I took a really, really old arcade game and mixed it with a really, really old boardgame. So... they took Pac-Man and crossbred it with Operation. Now, this isn't one of those miricle mixtures like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or banana and toffee pie. This is more like cheese and chocolate. Mooch is one of those games that should be in the guiness book of records for worst ideas alongside things like the bungee cord made of straw. For 30 agonizing minutes I gave this title a try. At around 60 seconds per level you can see that I gave it a fairly good shake but this game is literally you, moving pac-man's evil twin through a bland maze with insta-death traps as you pick up power-pills. The pacing is sooooo slow that you really feel like this must have been someones first attempt at programming a game. But as if slow-motion, insta-death, edgy Pac-man wasn't already a dumb enough idea they actually went to new heights (depths?) of stupidity - they thought it would be a good idea to sell it to people! Thankfully, I picked this up on sale for next to nothing and it may be a worthwhile purchase if I …4 found this helpful

This game is flat out not fun. All you do is collect orbs and avoid enemies. No real story to motivate you to progress. Everything is a 1 hit kill, and levels don't have checkpoints. You die more often to spikes on the wall than actual enemies, because the corridors are annoyingly narrow. I get killed more often than not for not being precise enough when navigating a corridor. Because that's totally how characters should constantly die in games - that's really fun! Seriously, the atmosphere looks cool, but the gameplay sucks.2 found this helpful
There is no resolution setting. The game screen is half of my screen size. This is the same whether fullscreen or windowed. It looks good, I'd love to play it and recommend it if it turns out to be good. I can't play it like this, and therefore can't recommend it.2 found this helpful
