You are getting the first negative review I've probably ever written. I dropped this game last year and didn't remember why. Then I came back to it only to be stuck on the World 3 boss. Now I think I know why I dropped it. Why are all the bosses 3 minutes straight of avoiding repetitive attacks? There is almost nothing new added, and it's so boring! I've played plenty of precision platformers and platformers in general. This is exactly how you do NOT design a boss fight, and it singlehandedly ruined the otherwise decent game for me. What a waste of my time, and utterly blatant padding. I saw there was a "1 year anniversary balance patch" and I cannot believe this wasn't changed for it. For the price of one snack you get a super short, but really solid piece of platforming inspired by both modern precision platformers and the slightly unfair late 2000s "I Wanna Be The Guy" trend. An evening well spent.1 found this helpful
Great platformer!
A mostly charming NES inspired platformer... BUT THERE IS ONE BIG ISSUE I HAVE WITH IT. Just got done playing this the other day, and it was a decent time waster. The graphics and music pretty much nail that retro 8-Bit Goodness, and I like the one-room approach to levels they make for some brief yet satisfying challenges (and they can get pretty tricky later on). Also having a playable title screen and options menu is a neat touch, I like that! Our hero has a Unique moveset... one that takes some getting used to, I'll admit. The game makes use out of your required abilities, and even tests your knowledge of what this mole can do by the end-certain sections were a lot easier once I remembered that "Burrowing" is pretty much your RUN button. Though I'm not a fan of popping out of the ground and needing a moment to land before you can properly jump again, but other than that, the rest seems doable. On paper, a game like this should take an hour or so to beat, tho you may notice I have 3.8 hrs on record at the time of me writing this, and most of THAT was spend going against the BOSSES. There are four bosses in total-one for each world-and while the first and fourth were decent …
Very nice game ,touch and feel let you enjoy the game more, realy fun to play .
