Moonlighter

Not a big fan of repeated action but the economy had me strangely invested to get stronger and richer. Tycooned myself into beating in less than 10 hours on accident, oops. GGs

A few games have you run a fantasy shop in conjunction with a larger scope of game. This falls on the more laid back of shops, with little at stake aside from pesky shoplifters. No one is coming to collect bills and no anime fairies are threatening to break your legs if you cannot make your protection money. The dungeon crawling is a rougher bag, and meat of the game. Generally positive but with difficult fights ahead, you’ll be seeing a lot of the same stuff over and over. Luckily, David Fenn continues to impress with his music and it will be accompanying your adventure. If you like roguelite dungeon crawls and selling your junk to townsfolk at exorbitant prices, and don’t mind a bit of grind, this does scratch those very specific itches.

Super great game! I think the gameplay and art are nice and seeing it go on sale for $2 all the time is a huge pickup
