Morels: Out of this World

I think this is a great start for the third of the Morels games! The idea of mushroom hunting off world is certainly an interesting one. I'm about an hour in and as it stands, this game isn't very playable for me, sadly. I rarely have issues with The Hunt, but this one is just eating my computer for breakfast. A breakfast full of technicolor shrooms fried right on my overheating components. It auto-detected my graphics at epic, and lowering the settings for high and medium did nothing to help the regular freezing. Planet 1 ran... okay. On Planet 2, I tried setting everything to low, but the menu stopped working after setting shadows to low, everything in-world got really bright, and I ended up just having to force quit. It seems like others are having more luck than me so I am still going to recommend it. I really want to see these devs succeed again. For me, between the optimization issues and the fact that none of the new mushrooms and animals have names.... This feels like early access and I am going to wait to see if updates change anything before I play again.

I have both Morels: The Hunt I and 2, (which I love to play!!) and Out of this World is a wonderful addition ! The music is beautiful and relaxing. I was so pleasantly surprised at how some of the mushrooms glowed in the dark when night fell. With this addition you will find yourself walking through a landscape that is somewhat different from earth which requires you to really focus and pay attention, since you are searching in a world of alien shapes and brilliant colors. It is so different from the first two games in the series, that it makes itself exciting to play in its own right and not a repetition of the first two. I highly recommend !

Already a better game then Morel Hunt 2. The first planet is awesome, the tree formation are so cool and the pillars of stone reminds me of stonehenge. The some of the creatures look like reskins with horns or wonky size, but honestly I love it. It's different and unique and makes me happy to just explore just for the scenery. I think that was something missing in the second game, beautiful scenery, though the meadow was the obvious exception. The only thing I wish this game has done was let us name the mushrooms and creatures (as none of them have names) or at least have cool alien name that mess with the tongue trying to pronounce them. Either way would have been fun. The 2nd planet was a little disappointing as going off the picture I thought to would be a forest of giant mushrooms but it was just a woodland, pretty but not what I was expecting. 3rd planets a awesome desert style I really liked. the $th planet was trippy, made me feel very small and slow, but I didn't mind cause the dinosaurs were cool.

I like the alien vibe added to it. Wanna give it some more time when I get the chance.

Pretty cool game so far. I'm having a lot of fun exploring the different planets.

Great game, but the current release is a bit buggy in terms of graphics, clipping, and I've also had it freeze on me too. Hoping these issues are resolved in future updates because I do otherwise really enjoy it.
