Morels 2 is a relaxing adventure game about mushroom hunting and wildlife photography. Find as many morel mushrooms as you can while capturing photos of wildlife that you encounter, all while enjoying the sounds and experiences of nature surrounding you. Explore locations all around the world. You will get 100 days per season as you unlock locations along your journey and discover hunting secrets, along with a few surprises!

Earn points from finding mushrooms and photographing wildlife to buy valuable items in the shop like bug spray to prevent ticks, first aid kits, raincoats to help preserve energy on rainy days, a headlamp for night hunting, upgraded camera and even a horse or an ATV to ride around on!

We are a small but very passionate team of brothers. We loved morel mushroom hunting growing up. We still do it every year. One of the greatest things about mushroom hunting is just being out in nature. We take a lot of photos while we are hunting which is how the game came about. We wanted to create an immersive experience of being out in nature, mushroom hunting, and photographing the beautiful environment around you into a game, without having to hunt something with a weapon.
Although one of the main goals of the game is to collect mushrooms, it Is Not a mushroom hunter simulator. Morels is an adventure game that focuses equally on mushroom hunting and photographing animals.

Overall a decent improvement over the original Morels game in terms of map design atmosphere and even balance. With out of this world (Morels 3) coming soonish that is shaping up to be a great 3rd entry in the trilogy/series easy recommend.5 found this helpful

I love this game. You can really feel how much love and care went into making it. It's not the most polished game on the market, but since it's made by a single dev on a tiny budget I really don't hold that against it. It does a really good job of making sure you want to keep going out and gathering mushrooms by giving you a ton of goals to reach and ways to improve, and makes sure those goals and improvements have a satisfying payoff. This game is just as great as the first. It has some unique aspects such as new mushrooms to find, new animals to photograph and new maps to search and explore. Two of the maps are very different such as the ocean map and the cave map.2 found this helpful
From the start I was thinking this game sucks compared to the first one but I gave it a chance. But today I know it really blows chunks. First I start my day, get on my horse, when I get off I can't move, I can't take pictures so I have to shut the game down - lovely!. I get back in, I see some kind of raptor, this game will not let me take a picture of it. I spend 10-15 min attempting to do it. DEVs you really suck! I am trying to chill and all this game is accomplishing is raising my blood pressure. In reality I can just take the picture (and from my horse) but you leave a fraction of a second to take these pictures. WTF?!?!? You can't move through the first map (trying to make people not play the game devs??) because you can't move between 2 trees that are definitely far enough apart and this happens all the time. We won't talk about all the things that catch you up while you are trying to move around, and I thought I was going to have to blow myself out the game a few times because I couldn't move, once my horse got caught in a wall (truly fun)! And this is all in the first map. This kind of thing should not be happening. Learn to program devs. Then there is the horse,…
