$199.99 for 10 mins of gameplay, pretty good value3 found this helpful
Nothing works. Had to restart the game multiple times to be able to lift the basket, which requires you hit a very specific spot on it that changes every time it moves position and you cannot set it down or it becomes impossible to pick up again. You cannot turn around while holding the basket, so to play, you have to strife left or right without ever turning and then walk backwards to the car to end the game. Also, the amount of time it takes to pick up the basket is roughly 80% of the time it takes to die of starvation in hardcore mode, and the walking speed is so slow it's impossible to pick up a mushroom to eat to prevent starvation. Also the mushrooms will clip out of the basket into Nowhere, as will the butterflies, the latter of which will occasionally get stuck to you and prevent you from walking. Really good fully functional game2 found this helpful
Mushroom Challenge is a small independent title created and published by Hede that attempts to transform the quiet pastime of mushroom foraging into a simple first-person exploration experience. The game places players in a forest environment where the primary objective is to wander through nature and collect mushrooms scattered across the landscape. Rather than presenting a complex survival system or a story-driven adventure, the game focuses on a single central activity: exploring the woods and gathering as many mushrooms as possible before finding the way back to the starting point. The concept is intentionally minimalistic and aims to capture the calm feeling of being alone in a natural environment while searching for hidden resources. From a gameplay perspective, Mushroom Challenge operates as a first-person exploration and collection game. Players begin their journey near a parked vehicle and step into the surrounding forest to search for mushrooms growing among the trees and grass. The process of collecting them is straightforward and accessible—players simply move through the environment, locate the mushrooms, and pick them up as they encounter them. There are no combat sy…
Garbagio, but at least it says on the tin what it is? Still, hell no. Im on a quest of at least trying every game in my library, of which I got plenty from all kinds of bundles, not all though. If you are interested in my journey, check out my other reviews :)
Mouse is stukc in top left corner. Controller doesnt work. 100 Euros for total garabage.
This game is like, the start of someone building a cool sandbox game, but all you've got is the sandbox. It makes no sense that you have to hold down the left mouse to carry the basket, or that it's in your line of sight constantly in the way. It's annoying that you can run and run and run for miles and never tire, but also never see ANY changes in landscape, or any actual mushrooms! The most I've ever found is 3, and every time, I just got so lost I couldn't find my way back to "sell" them or whatever anyway, so who cares.
