Museum Mystery: Deckbuilding Card Game

"Museum Mystery: Deckbuilding Card Game" is, while it doesn't look like it right away, actually just a weak ripoff of games like Slay the Spire... a card battler where you go through a series of procgen fights, slinging out cards etc. The dungeon run theme of Slay the Spire was replaced with a badly translated Russian "Night at the Museum" theme that just... doesn't work at all. What do you do in the game? You play a worse version of Slay the Spire. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, they decided that "Procgen IS content!" and lazily tried to use procgen algorithms to create infinite, samey, repetitive, soulless levels, because that's a lot less work. The game`s Fights are card playing style. I don`t finding deckbuilding side to the game. The game`s concept is repeating game playing, loot cards when defeating Anubis. This game is be careful; wound heal is only fixing hp to before turn(hp bar red line), restore HP is first heal wound hp after recovery disappear hp. Last This game is making good game If you are NOT boring repeat solo card games.

It's not the best game of its kind, but there are some nice ideas and its much longer than I expected from a free game (I assume I finished about 75% of the main game).

I just spent a weekend playing this game. I saw some of the negative reviews, but i cant say any of those things really bothered me. I was mostly focused on unlocking new cards and figuring out a way to break the game with a strong combo, while enjoying the atmosphere. By the last chapter, I ended up one-shoting almost everything except the final boss. Overall, I found it enjoyable.

I want to be charged money for this game. I am invested in this game and this publisher. This game reminds me of the Nancy Drew games from herinteractive in the absolute best way possible. So much fun. A very unique take on a deck builder, and I am learning things in the process. No but really, where can I send money to help this game and this developer work long term.
