MUTATION PHASE

This game is good in the sense of accomplishment.Even though it seems low budget,it delivers the fear and loneliness, what I'm saying is that the game does the job it meant to do.However that doesn't mean it's flawless. There's a bug in the game that appears randomly which blocks you from changing weapons or reloading, so you have to restart the current level.Aside from that, mostly linear gameplay at the start and introduces vast open enclosed areas towards the end which I personally didn't like due to how there's no single light source other than your shoulder light.Weapons are ok and they are not overpowered or overly weak, there's a good balance between the ambushes and the ammunition you can find.You need to moving to avoid getting overwhelmed as the monsters sometimes can be unexpected and flank you while you are dealing with the front.Sound design is average but I liked the scary musics fitting for the theme.Story ends with a good twist. If you want a scary game which plays better than most of the higher-budget products, then definitely check this out.It's worth playing through.

All I can say is that it's ok but it's not worth the price.

[h1]Game design is a foreign concept here[/h1] It actually starts off okay. The super long wall of text wasn't interesting, but the game was otherwise fine. Okay UI, how-to-play tutorial, some notes to read to get into the lore and so on. After the first level, the game forgets about story altogether though, so the "story mode" feels more like a random selection of maps, most of them incredibly dark and some even a bit confusing (aka, the forest). The mutants have no idle state. They know exactly where you are at all times. The moment they spawn in, they will always run towards you. And they often spawn in all directions, even behind you from areas you just cleared a moment ago. There's no rhyme or reason to them at all. Sometimes a mutant will be a fast runner and sometimes the exact same type of mutant is slow. When you shoot a mutant, they get stunned. Except sometimes when they don't. The weapons you get are the standard guns you see in every basic shooter. A pistol, assault rifle, shotgun and a grenade launcher. You have a stun gun as well, but you'll never use it unless you somehow run out of ammo in all your other guns. The pistol is basically useless. During a swarm a m…

Game atmosphere can be difficult for some, but overall the game was enjoyable. The achievements do need a big grind to finish lol.

Jank, blocky, poor movement. Not a big waste of money but can't recommend this game to anyone.

How amazingly bad... Don't get me wrong, for someone's first game is pretty good, but not something you would like to buy. The "story mode" is a disaster of video game level design and the survival mode is there just to get some achievements, which are pretty easy to do, since the game is super buggy, and the path planning of the mutants sucks. The models of the game are pretty cool, but I doubt that they are original designs. Sound, level design (as stated earlier), gameplay, mechanics and fun-factor are all much, much below average. A total disaster, stay away. 2/10
