Is great fun, friend gifted me this cause they liked it so much. I've enjoyed playing it and am a big fan of the sythwave and pot of gold options for the dice. Been finding it a little addictive haha. would reccomend buying even if just to try it out :31 found this helpful
Wanted to wait until I finished a run to leave a review. This one is addictive - while it presents as simple initially there's definitively depth to different build paths and dice combinations. Easy to get started but difficult to master (imo). Various unlockables and increasing difficulty after finishing a run. Very solid gambling-quota roguelike1 found this helpful
I love this game, the updates have been incredible and i can tell the creator genuinely loves what they are doing. i initally found it on a website and fell in love with the gameplay loop, and when i saw the steam version had more content i immediately got it. im a sucker for these roguelikes but payroll is so much more addicting imo1 found this helpful

Really fun and addictive. For me it's a 8,5/10! A few things I'd love to see: more visual juice when upgrading and merging dice, some form of meta progression between runs, and more reasons to invest in specific dice. It could be cool if repeatedly upgrading the same die unlocked extra bonuses or synergies, making specialization a viable build path. You should also look into how Dice of Kalma handles explanations. I really like the optional "makes more sense" style descriptions that explain things in the context of the game. It makes mechanics much easier to understand at a glance without changing the depth of the system. Keep up the good work!
Out of all the dice games I play, this one has the most personality. I feel so bad letting the shark down...
