I would say that this story has potential but is ultimately poorly executed. Overall, not a great experience. It worked okay on the steam deck but the text color and background make it difficult to read. As far as the story, I found the two characters (player and wife) both unbelievable and like they weren't even interfacing with each other, both seemed like NPCs just spitting out their text in turn. Reactions and dialogue did not fit together realistically. Events randomly occurred with little or no lead-up and the writing leaves a lot to be desired. Aspects of the story, especially the endings, were confusing and disjointed and poorly explained. The art wasn't amazing but it got the job done. I played through a few times to get the achievements, but in this case, most of them are a single line or two of text extra and most of the choices make no difference to the story. The story itself is derivative of Doki Doki Literature Club and falls short of what is great about DDLC and other yandere fourth wall breaking VNs. If you like visual novels at the price of free, there are far better free ones on Steam at a similar or longer length.

This is one of those novels that delves into a psychological horror. The story is ok and the animation is decent.

Its a novel that is visual... I don't know man, I didn't even read it. I'm just a shameless achievement wh0re.

[h1]Steam Deck Experience: Playable[/h1] You'll need to configure controls or use the touchscreen. Also entering the name of you and your wife is jank, but not impossible. Also at one point the game tries to [spoiler]access the username of the PC[/spoiler], but it just shows up as "None". [h1]Review[/h1] This game was decent for being free. I might have been willing to pay a dollar for it. It is very short, goes at a breakneck pace, and is very shallow, but it was still enjoyable. You got about an hour of content total. Games need to stop [spoiler]getting the player's name via their home directory name[/spoiler], this one included. That hasn't worked since Microsoft started using online sign ins back at the start of Windows 10 unless you go WAY out of your way to fix it manually. Now it's usually just the first five letters of your email.
