The game is unstable on Linux due to the compatibility layer (Proton/Wine) but I did get it to work eventually. I made three Robots in the sandbox, changed their personalities to Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson and James May. It was funny, expecially when they started arguing. I tried to get the Patron version to work before picking this up during the Steam Summer Sales and because I use Linux, it was very difficult getting the API Keys from either ChatGPT or Gemini to work with MyRobot to host my own LLM, I even tried to use my own local LLM Dolphin or LLaMa but no luck with the Patron version. It's a decent game to play on to just kill some time. I already have AI2U:With You Till The End which I had for a while so I didn't need to get the bundle.2 found this helpful
I like the concept very much. Been backing this game and following its development for quite some time now. Know what you're buying: currently, this is a waifu sim first, and an exploration sim second. At the moment this is probably the only game in its genre, and it's a huge WIP at that - so I think it's too hasty to form a strong opinion yet when there's still so much to go. But so far, I've genuinely really enjoyed how it's coming along. I don't think I've ever played anything with this level of dynamic interaction. Being able to customize tools, hairstyles, clothes and cosmetics as well as custom-tailor your robots' personalities is a very fresh and ambitious idea that I think doesn't get enough credit where it's due. You can give crazy commands and your clanker wife will actually go through with it - you ever see a robot girl emote then throw hands with another robot girl and snatch her weave? Well, believe it, hoss. It's all in here. The core gameplay is simple enough, movement is highly responsive, and the robot girls are indeed very cute. That being said, this game is very far from being finished and I agree with the sentiment that it should be labeled as early access. If …1 found this helpful
its really cool
It's a fun and interesting concept, it seems very empty at first, but there is a huge world and story out there (though not particularly detailed). In terms of the robot/AI capabilities, i'd give it a 3/5 for how well it works, it's interesting to see the robots try to communicate with eachother (and fail). I don't understand how people are running out of AI credits, you have to be having 12 hour conversations to drain them all. The gameplay is simple and the hoverboarding is pretty addicting, you can princess carry the robot and throw it off a cliff if you so choose to. The recent romantic/date features are hilarious. Unfortunately, you will encounter many bugs and sometimes need to restart the game for it to start working properly again. A lot of the functionality and features aren't really documented, so you can quickly forget some things; like the larva needing to be charged off the robot before they can power things.
I have waited this game so long, but sigh.. so annoying the AI decides to do something stupid or me getting completely stuck. I have lost my count how many times I had to restart the game. Please add unstuck button. Also, save button not working..
This game is very cute and fun, it took a bit to figure out what to do at the beginning especially how to charge the robot but I don't regret buying this game. I have a few suggestions however. 1: There seems to be a lot of empty land everywhere, most places I end up in seem to have nothing, especially places where it feels like there should be something there. It's a great opportunity to add more customization options, easter eggs, or other nonsense if it's not planned already. 2: (Disregard if this is already in the game and I haven't found it yet or planned) I think there should be the ability to create male robots, all robots I have seen/found so far are female. 3: new areas in DLC/free updates 4: Overall this feels like a very cozy and fun game, so I think that adding more activities would be great. Perhaps fishing? Maybe fishing could tie in to the restaurant and more quests to get special dishes? The aforementioned new areas could tie in to the new activities like a fishing area(s). Maybe have the ability to play games with your robots? Ultimately it's up to you, the developer(s) to decide what's put into the game and what's not. But it's a great game that I see a lot…
