Mystery Case Files: Huntsville™

I don't think I'll finish this game. It's not actually bad, there is some humour here and there, the HOG and jigsaw gameplay is pretty solid. I'm torn about the fact that each case is timed (your time for several HOG scenes and one jigsaw scene accumulates) - sometimes it feels like a nice additional challenge (it's not very hard) but sometimes it annoys me. The part that makes me give this a thumbs down is the graphics, they are just very old and kinda ugly, the resolution is very low - and the way things are hidden in the HOG pictures is sometimes nonesensical. That's the reason this just doesn't feel worth my time and I will likely just let it rot in my library.

Got Huntsville as a part of the Mystery Case Files bundle, I was very excited to play the original MCF that started it all. I was able to play for about an hour and enjoyed the puzzles and finding objects, unfortunately now the game refuses to launch and I have tried every solution that has been posted here and on Reddit, I do not recommend getting this game as a standalone as you probably will only get to play it long enough to want more.

This is the first game in the Mystery Case Files series and it's a game that I always find myself coming back to it because it's a comfort game for me, the whole series is a comfort series and I'd love to find the books that were written years ago.

I downloaded it for nostalgia sake as I remember playing it as a kid and a bit creeped out by it. Tho this finding objects type of games is my favorites so I remember always brace myself to go through XD. Now I can play it just fine, and its still as fun as before! I can finished it a bit faster and without running out of time tho lmao

Even if you're not a hidden objects fan, you may still enjoy this game. It has a nice style to it and feels like the designers put some real thought into it. The music is pleasant, the challenge is reasonable, and there are enough levels that you feel like you get what you paid for.
