This game cannot be played as intended.[/quote] This is shallow for a deckbuilder, pick/buy/sell cards then let the battle work itself out, so there's less strategy involved than usual, but I still think the main cause of failure here was just a really sloppy, unpolished, browser/Flash like technical delivery with laughably poor artwork and everything else feeling phoned in. So, "Mythicard" is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! [i]Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails.[/i] Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. The game is really fun! originally the developer, had it so you couldn't tell the ai from the human players, but they changed it, so that's really great. wish it had more players, if it did this would be one of my fav games.
