Nobody knows who's infected. Nobody trusts anyone. Every card exchange could be your last. NECHTO is a local party game for 4–12 players in the spirit of Mafia and Among Us. One laptop on a shared screen, players use their phones as controllers. No installs — just a browser and Wi-Fi. ---How it works
One player launches the game on a laptop or TV. Everyone else joins from their phones via browser using a QR code or IP address. No registration needed. Every turn has three phases: • DRAWS A CARD — take the top card from the deck. Drew a PANIC card? It plays immediately. • PLAYS — play an action card or discard. • EXCHANGES — mandatory. Pass a card to your neighbour. This is exactly how The Thing spreads infection. ---Three types of cards
Actions — FLAMETHROWER, QUARANTINE, ANALYSIS, TEMPTATION, SHIP'S LOG and 9 more. Each one shifts the balance. Defense — reaction to someone else's turn. NO THANKS, MISSED ME, FEAR, NO BARBECUE — play it before it's too late. Panic — drawn instead of a regular card and plays immediately. Can't discard. Can't defend. Terrible game design, the whole game is vibe-coded, the sound is the peak of the AI sound design (hiss and fart), shameless AI art, the mechanics are incomprehensible, the game froze when one player died and his turn came The developer did not put a tag of the use of AI content, although the whole game is one pure vibecode slop And on top of that, author stole the idea of tabletop game “Stay away” without even a smallest notice - I’ll make sure to write to game publisher to notice them, because rules AND theme are stolen 1:1, it’s like a desktop adoption of tabletop game but without author’s consent Not even a slop with a novel idea, but a worst effortless slop you can even imagen based on a stolen idea6 found this helpful
A really fun party card game with a clever corporate theme. The rules are easy to understand, but the different roles, unique decks, and interactions between players add plenty of strategy and chaos. The variety of cards keeps matches fresh and unpredictable. Action cards allow for clever plays, Defense cards provide exciting counterplay, and Panic cards inject pure chaos into the game at exactly the right moments. With 28 unique cards, every session feels different. Supporting up to 12 players is a huge advantage for parties, and the browser-based phone controls work surprisingly well. Really liked this game. It is fun to play with friends, especially when everyone starts blaming each other. The game is easy to understand, but every match feels different.
