About Untrusted
Untrusted is a 10-16 player online social deduction game where you either join the NETSEC hacking crew racing to crack a target system or infiltrate as an undercover AGENT to stop them. With 27 unique classes and over 100 skills, you'll use deception, logic, and hacking mechanics to outwit opponents across multiple winning conditions in a Mafia-style battle of wits.
As a member of the fictional NETSEC group, you'll engage in a pulse-pounding game of hacking and social deduction, using your skills and wits to outsmart the undercover AGENTs trying to stop you; as an AGENT, you'll have to blend amidst the hacking crew to stop their plans in a race against the clock.
With up to 16 players in the game, the competition is fierce as you navigate the web of cybercrime and use deception and deduction to gain the upper hand. With 27 playable classes and over 100 unique skills, the possibilities are endless as you strive to gain root access of the target node and claim victory for your faction. But be careful, one false move could mean instant game over.
The game ends when the NETSEC group successfully gains root access of the target node, when all AGENTs or NETSEC members have been eliminated, or if the NETSEC operation leader gives root access to an AGENT member. So, be prepared for the unexpected and join our community of players for an unforgettable experience.

Untrusted is a brilliant online hacking and social deduction concept that is completely ruined by a dead multiplayer community and a brutally steep learning curve. While the idea of a 10-to-16 player cyberpunk battle of wits between NETSEC hackers and undercover agents sounds incredible, the reality of logging in to find empty servers makes actually playing the game a massive chore. When you do manage to scramble enough people together for a lobby, the text-based interface and dense command logs are incredibly hostile to newcomers, leaving you completely lost while veteran players execute hyper-specific metas. Without a robust built-in player base or an accessible way to learn the intricate faction mechanics outside of a chaotic live match, it ultimately stands as a frustrating ghost town of a game that is impossible to recommend to solo players.5 found this helpful
