A surprisingly fun action game where a few dubious design decisions justify the low cost. Despite that, it still deserves attention. Simply looking at the visuals may lead you to believe that this is one of those old games that was ported by upscaling the texture. However, this is a recent game that was purposefully designed in this manner. A lot of it may appear monotonous, blocky, or lacking in detail, but a closer look reveals that this is not the case, as the game employs just the appropriate amount of resources to make it engaging, and possibly even nostalgic. Fortunately, the controls are based on modern approach, so you won't have to struggle with them. Although using a keyboard and mouse is possible, I prefer using a gamepad because there are many buttons and you want quick access to commands. The controls meet all of the requirements of an action game. Your hero can attack with a sword or kick, jump or double-jump, block or roll out of the way, and perform a variety of special skills as you acquire them. Because there is no delay or stamina that would hinder you from performing a move, everything is fluid. This implies you can evade even while the attack animation i…18 found this helpful
Listen, you need to know what you're getting into with this. This is an extremely janky action game probably made by one guy, with some suspect sound assets (you'll recognize them when you hear them). But, it's actually pretty fun. It has a nice flow to it and handles surprisingly well. I give it a recommendation if you want to just have some hack and slash fun without being concerned for a top tier game. A cheap price for a budget experience, but still a good one.1 found this helpful
Wuxia Prince of Persia. Ci Lang, the Red Wolf, was a feared assassin. After his last job, the organization he works for declares him a wanted man. His only chance to survive is to reassemble the knowledge of a lost technique that would allow him to face his rivals. But many hunters are striving to claim the reward for his head, and he will need to perfect his skills in order to survive. A set of levels full of enemies and some secrets that you need to traverse and fight your way through. The game is a mix of combat and platforming, navigating maze-like levels. The platforming is clearly inspired by Prince of Persia, with wall-running, swinging on beams, and navigating loads of spike traps and sharp circular swords and blades. There are also some underwater sections, but most of the time you are jumping, wall-running and swinging across the levels. The combat has a lot of beat'em'up influences, with each enemy having a health bar in the top right corner, with the bosses having multiple health bars. The combat system includes regular, heavy attacks, blocks and dodges, and , as well as multiple combos with jump + attack, and multiple moves you can purchase, allowing you to speed…
Summary: Attack and dodge mindfully and use your different abilities based on your situation or you will be stun lock and die. Good: - Story, adventure, hack and slash - Different types of enemies and skills and equipment - If you want a difficult game that makes you rage quit where you need to learn enemy move set to defeat them Bad: - Some levels have FPS drop - Some bosses if they hit you cause FPS drop which causes input delay and then you die by boss combo and stun lock attack - Normal Enemy hitbox is fine but your attack to some boss does not count as damage due to some invisible armor/ dodge status
