"Nine Realms Prologue" is is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Thor's Ascension: Nine Realms". Thor's Ascension: Nine Realms is a basic console-like top down RPG "extraction brawler" (there's a genre nobody wanted) where you do some hack and slash basic lulzy minimum viable product ARPG stuff with a time limit across samey, repetitive procgen maps. Except that game is deep in development hell, yet the developer has all the time in the world to make advertisements and pay for fake reviews from the Russian review farm uncovered by Sentinels of the Store. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Thor's Ascension: Nine Realms, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Nine Realms Prologue" too. The pur…3 found this helpful
First people need to understand that this game is not even in Early Access yet, so this is just a demo. The game is really good, and one of the better Rogue type games I have played. I would definitely clean up the voice acting. Even if you use AI, which I don't care, but people do. Just really get that down, because the game is too solid to let people give negative feedback cause of some voice lines. I actually liked the voices used, but they are just done poorly. Get the right prompts, and train them and review them. Other than that the game should be solid and will do well. Great job on this.1 found this helpful

sooooo did the game just never come out or what up? Good Other than this being 2-3 years old and no full game. Nice little Rogue style hack and slash! a Norse version of Hades.
Plays like a horrible mobile port with AI "voice acting". Don't waste your time.
The game likes to make fun of you when you die, well if the game wasn't broken maybe i wouldn't die so much, a real crappy experience i normally love Rougelikes and top down Shoot-em ups. this one just isn't good at all! Maybe if they actually finished the game, worked out the bugs, give in content, make it run well and the overall experience would be different they don't care about their game so why should we!?
