About Not My Hand
A psychological horror puzzle about an strange VHS tape that captured a disturbingly realistic ritual.
Each viewing changes what happens on screen. Notice these changes, figure out what they mean and see if you can rewrite the ending. You’re not the executioner, you’re the victim.
Use spatial audio to identify which victim you are and make sure the recording doesn’t end too soon.Rearrange the footage:
What happened at 1:40?
Did the radio turn on, or did the revolver misfire?
But don’t think you can control everything. The tape has its own plans.Lovingly recreated VHS aesthetics: noise, distortion, and analog sound - all working together to create terrifying realism.
This is not a horror about blood or jump scares.
Fear hides in the details.Key Features:
Tl;DR Absolutely not at the price point of anywhere above 3 dollars at the bare minimum.

Explanation
There are parts about this game I like, but too many parts to dislike.
Price, Length, and Difficulty
I 100% finished this game with all words unlocked, and credits rolled. All in all, it took me around 80 minutes. This game is $6.99 full price, $5.24 for the 2026 Summer Sale. I don't refund games once I've finished them because I love indie games, and I'll extend that same courtesy here. But this game is way too expensive, in terms of difficulty. This game is ridiculously easy and nowhere near the five hours that most of the English reviews will have you believe it is. For the first stage, the basement, you can instantly check three of the people off because the stair audio is directional. The attic and the void are a little bit harder, but I guessed that the entry point for the attic is the center back of the room (and I seemed to be correct) and for the void I guessed that it was the opposite wall from the visible wall (which also seemed to be correct). Once you figure out the entry audio trick, the game gets ridiculously easier…1 found this helpful
https://youtu.be/Ryi5VmXBSO4 Today! We found the corpse of "Not My Hand" Flesh (Visuals): I got to say, I loved the visuals of this game, its a PSX style graphics but loved the effects, the look, the note book menus and details, very well done! Dismemberment (Difficulty): I do not think its difficult, once you know what you are doing and figure out what you need to do from hints and puzzles, you can progress pretty well, definitely some events are more helpful then others, figure out your strategy and you will do fine, NOW, sounds to detect the the right one, awesome game mechanic, takes a few and sometimes tough to tell but you cannot lose, just try again! Infestation (Bugs): Did not notice any bugs, maybe one where the tape never ended but still got my unlocks when I went to menu to restart, not game breaking, cannot confirm it was a bug or not, just a small note to through out to the void, besides that... the mess appearing at my desk :cockroach: Corpse Integrity (Story): You get a tape, you watch it, its different each time, but why? You life fall apart because... YOU MUST REWRITE THE ENDING! But what is the true ending? Game's story was cool, I loved it, gave me like, VHS movi…1 found this helpful
Impressive listen-and-choose puzzle horror game! The overall gameplay is a loop of figuring out who the "real" victim is, and trying to pick them last in order to fulfill different criteria for the events that unfold. Pretty enjoyable repetition of different things to listen for and figure who is the final target. Sound based games, especially horror one, are so awesome to find and play, and this game does an excellent job of this feature! The sound detail was excellent, as well as disturbing haha, and it did its job perfectly. I enjoyed my time figuring out how to move onto the next set, and reaching the end of it all had me satisfied in the end. Great game! ~ 👂🏽🔔🔊🔫🩻🪑1 found this helpful
