Millennia of evolution have engineered the ultimate super predator. Enter the Stoned Age as a degenerate named Tyler, with the objectives of maintaining your high, keeping your life-threatening munchies at bay, and evading a variety of enemies who wish to mold you to society's constraints. This. Is. NugQuest.

Run and hide to avoid enemies, search around the house for food and contraband. Survive as long as possible, and unlock all 4 levels.

- What you can expect with the purchase:
4 survival maps to unlock and beat your high score in, a tutorial, original soundtrack and art. Once a map is unlocked by gaining enough points, it is infinitely re-playable.

"NugQuest" is a rather mediocre 2D retro pixel "joke" game about taking drugs, living a poor lifestyle and trying to avoid the consequences. Just about any theme can work well enough as a game if it's implemented well. This is implemented terribly, from poor controls, locked resolution, and poor artistic choices. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service …
