Oh this game... Is nuts. A lovely, joyful bundle of nuts. I love it so. I even get all the references...! Seeing as they are right up my alley! ^-^ Also coincidentally... I am writing this review at "6.9 hours". This is [i]epic![/i] This game is a masterpiece in itself. Not only it was hilarious (especially for someone who isn't easily entertained by jokes), but it's also hella interesting and bizarre. AND it drew women with shapely bodies? Holy! Yes. I refuse to spoil anything. Story wise. I will say that: the artwork is really cute/fun and I couldn't stop laughing at some of the "Object Heads" CGs. I mean... Damn... XD Choices... There aren't that many. Thankfully. BUT! You wont always know which one will lead to a bad/good ending. Although I gotta say... These "bad endings" weren't painful or grizzly. So I was actually okay getting them, knowing that even if I failed... That it wasn't the end of things. Another kudos. OH! Yeah! Lewd scenes. There is an option to turn them off... But for this game it actually makes the story even better and you can see how Manson sees things... You will also miss out on some cuteness, however, I understand that…

What initially drew me to this VN many years ago was the Object Head gimmick and how it provided a realistic in-world explanation for why it exists. After waiting patiently for its release and getting through all the routes, I can confidently say that it was worth the wait. This story rides the line of being comedic when it wants to be (no small part due to the wacky protagonist) but being absolutely serious when it needs to be. It treats the mental illnesses these characters have as seriously as you'd expect while still making sure to give you a good laugh when it's used for a joke. The humor can definitely be very crude at times, which I personally enjoy, though I can see how it could be too much for some people. But rest assured, it's very sparse and doesn't overstay its welcome when it arrives. All in all, this is a well-craft visual novel experience that takes full advantage of its premise while still being a well-written experience, and I cannot recommend it enough.

Okay, so. I rarely ever write reviews, especially serious ones, but for this one I want to make a good exception (love Randal, my fav) First of all - characters. Every character is interesting and you genuinely wanna know more about them, their past and experiences. A little confession : I rarely play visual novels for dialogue nowadays, mostly for funsies and some scenes, ifykyk, but this one made me go “oh, hold the horses brother, what the heck is wrong with these guys here?!”. And oh boy, is everyone interesting in their own way! Second of all - plot. Spoilers for the game! Stop if you haven’t played it or don’t want spoilers —————- . . . . . The plot revolves around our main character - Manson, bi (with preference towards men) man. The guy is mentally ill and a ‘what is wrong with you’ weird kind of dude, getting into all kind of shenanigans and everything. Seeing people with objects instead of their heads would make anyone go a bit insane, to be honest. What is really interesting though - is his development and how he changes throughout the game in some endings. Another interesting thing - doctors, inmates and everything in between. Only two endings deep, but I can already tell this is criminally underrated on here. I'll update my review once I've actually finished the game. I think this one deserves more buzz while the steam sale is going, and I hope adding another positive review helps with that. Gameplay tip: you can go back in the dialogue with the scroll wheel. Missed some stuff early on because i clicked too fast and didnt realize that.

The game is impressive for the scale of the dev team, it has engaging characters, and while the writing can feel rushed sometimes, it's still a genuinely exciting experience. I look forward to experiencing the rest of the game. Also you can die in the game, but I won't say how cause that's a spoiler. Best game death ever.
