About OK/NORMAL

OK/NORMAL is a short, experimental third-person horror experience, inspired by early 3D console games of the 90's. Journey through a dark, disjointed, dreamlike dimension with your cloud companion! Remember a good diet, take your medicine, and you should be fine!
Technically OK/NORMAL imitates the capabilities of the original PlayStation as closely as possible, including, but not limited to, affine texture mapping, vertex snapping and low polygon 3D models. Though, unlike most PS1 games, OK/NORMAL does run at 60fps, for an visually accurate, yet more fluid gameplay experience.
The game is a short, linear experience, that runs for anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes depending on your playstyle. I recommend taking your time to look around and listening to the chatter your companion provides!
The game is highly recommended to be played through in one sitting, but it does save between each level, so if you have to run, you can just pick up where you left off!

It's good. Sadly, we did not get any other planned projects like December 2000. 98Demake is still one of the most unique projects in general, and hopefully we'll see more.
I find this game to be a good representation of trippiness expressed by the subject matter of substance abuse. I admit, after reading other reviews, that was what helped me realize it was about that subject. Otherwise, it kind of just seems like a trippy game with horror elements. I'm not sure why I didn't realize that before with collecting pills and such. Anyways, the game looks awesome with its PS1 90'S aesthetic. You will definitely feel something while playing this, and for how affordable it is it justifies the price.
The second I booted up the game and saw the visual style, I was hooked. I LOVE games with this kind of style, a mix between early 90's games and weirdcore. I would 100% play more games by this developer.
The Maze Level kicked my ass. i kept exploring the whole map over and over again, always going around the temple, never finding the front entrance. Unlucky ig IM STUPID. you go into first person by pressing G, you can speed up with LEFT SHIRT. Knowing that would've made this game a lot lot more enjoyable and easier.
the level sizes could have been way smaller or like some more dialogue from the cloud to make it bearable
