About Olimdal

Olimdal is a simple, yet challenging puzzle game with beautiful interior environments, set in the authentic library tower of Olimdal.

The game is about a little wizard who got himself into a little trouble when trying to cast a spell from an unknown book. Spell made wizard's movements affect the movement of the surrounding objects. To break the spell you must find a tome from the highest room of Olimdal. In order to reach the tome room, you must get pass all the rooms while solving puzzles caused by your condition.

Olimdal introduces fresh take on a simple puzzle element, movement. You must solve the movement based puzzles and challenges by moving or trying to move.

Nice relaxing little puzzle game. I would get it on sale though when it's around $5'ish. There's really only about 30-60 minutes of play time depending on how fast you are. I went through it only once, taking my time, trying to click on random things - to which there's nothing extra on the shelves or whatnot. Just move through the maze of bookshelves, tables, and chairs. The graphics are done very nicely and it's a comfortable/relaxing environment. I hope they add more to the game, as when I finished I was a little disappointed with an out loud "that's it?" lol Got 7/12 Achievements going through only 1 time and not knowing what they were. There's an early access achiev that will be impossible to get since there was no early access for this game.

Pretty good puzzle game but not amazing. A few different gameplay mechanics beyond the core one introduced in the first level are introduced as the game progresses, but nothing very radical, and many of them are very sparingly used (like in only 1 or 2 levels). Mercifully, at only 25 levels it does not outstay it's welcome with it's total of approximately five different gameplay mechanics. The levels are creative and some are real head-scratchers. It took me a total of 3 hours to complete. At the current sale price of 80% off it's a steal.

I really wanted to like this game, the theme is charming, the introduction is well done and the game jumps straight to the point without bs, unfortunately the type of puzzle used here doesn't lend itself to very fun gaming. The manipulations become very quickly tedious, and it's difficult to spend more than a few minutes on a puzzle. If you realy like solving difficult ones, then only then will you want to keep coming back to it. Plus as soon as I saw the unity logo, I knew this would be unoptimized 3D levels thrown together. I really wish the Unity people gave their customers some pointers about 3D optimization rather than letting them believe they can just throw anything in the level without any care. This is not how videogames are created, never have been. Of course the dev here is using chromatic distortion and all the useless stuff he could find in the Unity toolbox. There are a million tiny particles floating pointlessly in the background and no option to customize anything or even change the resolution. Well done. Once again, unity becomes synonymous for bad game.

Good puzzle game. But how to get the achievement "Early Stages Of Olimdal: Reach Construction Room before Release" ? 挺好玩的益智游戏。但最后两个成就不知道怎么打出来。

Nice and short (27 levels) logical game. Unusual mechanic can be a bit frustrating but after few levels you know what's going on. It doesn't meant it will be easier hahah ~~Check my curator's page!~~

In this video I take a look at Olimdal, nice little puzzler game. A wizard has had an accident and now furniture follows him around. You need to help him navigate the wizards library to find the cure by manipulating the furniture out of the way. As it gets harder some furniture gets different behaviour and moves in different ways. It's a nice puzzler game with quality graphics, a fun story, and enjoyable game play. Watch the video to see what the game is like..... https://youtu.be/Agr24CD-inc Video curation, providing you with as many Let's Play's as we can. Thanks for watching.
