One Minute

One Minute is a simple concept executed well. You start with a few games, shoot for a high score, rack up points to buy upgrades with. The coolest thing is how the games evolve and become more complex as you progress, great for replayability. Great game for a quick endorphin hit. One minute is a fantastic collection of skill/reflex-based mini games where you compete for high score. Includes meta progression and the games evolve as you progress. It's addictive. Like a mix of WarioWare microgames and those incremental clickers, this had me addicted for hours. You can probably unlock all upgrades within two hours, but the gacha cursor game at the end of each run is a little tedious. Not being able to win a legendary cursor is the only thing preventing me from getting 100% achievements. Regardless, for only 1.50 on sale this game is both engaging and sleek. Couldn't recommend more!

So far I'm having a good time but I had to stop and drop a negative review because the game does not look or work right if your primary monitor is 4k. It is not that hard to make games work with any resolution in Godot but so many Godot games on steam seem to have this issue. I don't mind removing or changing this review if this issue gets fixed.

Really nice and addictive arcade game! I wish we could skip the annoying gatcha at the end of each round. Also, late games high score feel like it depends a bit too much on RNG (+- 200k points with the chose path for ex). Other than that pretty good simple game, well done!

A very fun and cute short game! The visual are very basic, but it's work for the type of game it is. You can play it by very short session, and unlock a lot of stuff, and even the upgrade change just enough of the mini-game to make the repetitivness go away.
