Only One Rectangle

Only One Rectangle is a "template flip", that is to say, it's a "game" that has been produced by copying a game template from GameMaker Studio, changing a few things, then dumping the barely functional "product" on Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. In this case it was a GameMaker Studio template for doing a simple retro platformer game, with a simple twist, you don't see the map until you've moved over it, so repeat attempts are required so you can see where to jump. A simple twist but it doesn't help the fact that this is still a fundamentally garbage GMS asset flip. Like, Skull Box Games couldn't even work out how to make full screen mode work with GMS. Imagine being so bad at game development that you can't even use a game construction kit properly. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and results in terrible games like this one. No professional effort was made in terms of game development, using a game construction kit requires no game development talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. woah, like a breath of fresh air. 6/10 - worth to play, very simple and yet so strong with a good flavour! yeah, colour xD some creepy levels, which I cannot believe I `ve somehow managed to pass ... good and positive emotions despite re-occurring retries! the coolest thing is not just passing a level, but literally find a way to pass it ;)
