Orb Flight

"Orb Flight" is a pointless and unambitious "art" piece where you fly around some low poly, possibly flipped assets, collect a couple of orbs... that's it. Why anyone would think this is worth burning $100 to publish on Steam is beyond me... maybe the developer isn't aware Steam has other games? It actually has over 140,000 games, but a lot of the time amateur developers never consider there's competition, and just publish their garbage for no reason other than they got the Unity project to build. Because this is more "art" than game, it prioritizes artistic and experiential elements so heavily that gameplay is an afterthought. It's an interactive mood piece... playing this makes you feel like you've been dragged along to a student film festival or something. There's no challenging, gripping, immersive gameplay. That's a problem. It's true that games can be art, of course... art is where the pinnacle of creativity, craftsmanship and expertise come together to form something greater than the sum of its parts. The game is very nice imo, but it would be nice if it had different and more intricate scenarios with their own music, to make gameplay longer. You can finish it pretty fast
