The concept of the game is good, but there are a lot of things missing. Pros Graphics are good The idea is good It is fun Cons The main upgrades are very weak and have no real impact on the gameplay. The card rarity system is also not very well thought out. At the end of each level, you must go up to deposit your ore; otherwise, you basically lose them. I would love the option to mine all the way to the end and then cash in to crunch the numbers. Levels are mostly small, especially if you play with bombs. Main Issues The main problem with the game, in my opinion, is the upgrade system and the limited amount of things to do. If you compare it to Dave the Diver, there are enemies, exploration, and a story that keep the game interesting. In this game, the only real enemy is time. You constantly have to rush back to the top before the timer runs out, and that takes a lot of the fun out of it. Should You Buy It? Yes, if you are looking for something fun to play for an hour or so. If you are looking for more long-term depth, then no — at least not at the moment. It may be worth following the game to see how it develops.4 found this helpful
Recommended (●'◡'●)
Pros: • Charming pixel art • Addictive gameplay • Tons of unique items • Good variety of levels • Lots of characters and items to unlock over time Cons: • No permanent abilities — some items like Jetpack 101 would be better off as an unlock you keep forever • No Christmas hat for characters
Definitely worth the price — at the time of writing I have 6.5h and 9/19 achievements

Update: took around 9 hours to 100% the game :)
3 found this helpful
Man this game is a grind. I love mining games and this one has it's own twist to it. It's only a few dollars so not a big investment but maybe with enough feedback some things will be modified to improve what I think are short falls. I find it crazy most if not all of the upgrades you have to pay the first level just to unlock the upgrade. Then the second level does 1 unit of whatever the upgrade is. And some only being 2-3 levels it doesn't really impact much if you unlock the upgrade. After 2.5 hours I unlocked 1 bomb to start out with, which I thought would be every day in the run but apparently it's only the beginning. All that grinding to unlock 1 bomb and unlock the ability to get 3-4 other upgrades seems excessive. There isn't enough in a run that really keeps you wanting to play as you can only reach so far before it's pretty hard if not possible to make it through the Mine or Die day. Have been stuck at day 12 for a while. Also if you don't get good items that really help you it can get expensive to re-roll. I also think the item cost gets way to high for some of the things. It will take you 2 maybe 3 days of mining to get to be able to buy something but it's b…2 found this helpful
Really fun game. Spent total 35 hours with the demo and the full version, trying to get the max score, but only getting to around $97,370 last day. Kept me entertained. Solid controls. Minus for a few bugs (eg. sometimes collision bug causes mined ore to clip through the ground and fall away), but didn't ruin my enjoyment.2 found this helpful
