Overmorrow

Very pretty knowledge-based game with a unique visual style and dreamy atmosphere. The music and sound effects also fit the theme well - I especially liked the [spoiler]village/graveyard[/spoiler] and ending tracks It's a little buggy at times like not detecting my gamepad unless I switch it on when the game is already open or certain messages not dissapearing, but nothing too annoying Strong recommendation for anyone who likes exploration games with slightly cryptic puzzles/riddles

I want to like this game, because of the art style and Zelda vibes, but navigation is impossibly confusing. The game doesn't clearly communicate which surfaces are at the same level (and thus the player can walk from one to another), or which parts of the screen have exits. This would be fine once in a while, in order to hide certain exits, but when in each screen the only way I can navigate is by trying randomly to move in all directions this is not alright. It gets even worse when I try to figure out what spell might work where, especially since the punishment for a wrong try is quite strong. What a disappointment. Could have been a great game.

Some patience required - you lose all your progress after 30 days, and by day 75 I was pulling my hair out. But a few realisations and the game progresses nicely. Overmorrow is a super cute and relaxing puzzle game. It's almost rouge-like as you use your resources to explore the world. Highly recommend giving it a go.

An interesting premise and art direction packaged into a good little indie game. Well worth the price.

A very cute puzzle game. I particularly enjoyed the Art style of this game, it was truly delightful to see how everything gets depicted with triangles. One con of the art however is that sadly it can be a challenge sometimes to decipher what is what but in some ways that adds to the puzzles of the game. The day system really asks that you play the game more than once (most likely you wont finish the game in the first 30 days) to find the perfect run and know how to tackle each day. At first I was quite disappointed I couldn't complete the game in the first 30 days (or second 30 days for me haha) but later came to enjoy exploring the game in this way. So my advice would be not to go into the game expecting to get it all correct early on and to be more experimental with the game mechanics. To continue this idea of exploration the game has a feeling of an early Legend of Zelda in terms of how the game wont tell you how to explore the game and instead waits for you to try out different ideas. This could be frustrating if you're looking for a more linear experience but if you enjoy the puzzle of the game then that can be quite enjoyable. One last con for me was with one particular …
