DE-EXIT is a beautiful platformer, action, puzzle, adventure game. The story catched me and I really like the level design. You have to save the world of the dead and it's fun but also sad. I played for about 3h and finished the first chapter. It has a few bugs but nothing too bad so far. Three things that I don't like: 1. Cam can be really a pain 2. Too many enemies at some points (you can't see them, can't fight them - it's annoying) 3. Control of the flashlight is bad (you can't look up and down but you have to because you can only recognize the enemies with this light)4 found this helpful
Dig the art style. Love the cutscenes. Solid voice acting. Dropped the game half way through. It's kinda very ok, but lacks polish. Gameplay feels like the experimental era of early 3D platformers. Ok, but not fun. Can be hard to work out where to go, or whether you're doing the right thing. The puzzles can feel loose enough that you're not entirely sure if you "solved it" as intended, or accidentally exploited the geometry. Performance is a bit off as well. No graphic settings and big frame drops in places. You can run it at 60 fps no problem most of the time, but 120 would push any system to the limit.3 found this helpful

I'd like to begin by saying that every gaming experience is worth it. It's always an incredible feeling playing new games, especially indie-games, even if my view on the game itself isn't a positive one. At the end of the day, SandBloom Studio made a game, and I am happy to not have only played the game, but to unlock all achievements for this game. I literally found this game on accident. I went to one of those websites where you spin a wheel and it selects a random steam game. I saw that it had achievements, and that it had a style I liked, so I tried it out. After 26 hours playing this game, I decided it was time to leave as fair a review as I can. First off, I love voxel style games. The minimalist feel and the ambiance are some of my favorite aspects of this style. So when I saw it was a voxel game, I was genuinely excited. I was even more excited when I saw this game had insane lore and voice acting, both I will get into later. I also love 3-D platfomers, and games that give the player the opportunity to explore and find secrets, especially for those that like to unlock achievements, such as myself. With that being said, this game was a bit of a let down. Not a bit, but a M…
