About Paladin Duty - Knights and Blades

In this first-person game, you are a paladin who must take up arms to free the entire kingdom from thieves and invading knights.

Don't forget to block enemy attacks when possible; it is essential for your survival. When attacking, strike your enemies from behind or hit them in the head to get an instant kill.

A word to the wise: Don’t run carelessly throughout the terrain. A lot of enemies await you. Walk slowly and attack them from behind for optimal success.

This game was influenced by Elder Scrolls: Skyrim (2011) and Thief (2014). If you enjoyed either of these games, you’ll also enjoy Paladin Duty.

Game Features

- First-person view
- Simple gameplay mechanics: attack and block using mouse buttons
- Simple missions, kill all enemies to complete a level
- Attack enemies from behind to get an instant kill
- Hit enemies in the head to kill enemies easier
- Use caution to complete some levels; don't call enemy attention or you will need to face a lot of enemies at the same time
Warning: Asset Flip! "Paladin Duty - Knights and Blades" is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The Brazilian "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a basic set of dungeon assets and made a really awful wave survival hack'n'slash game with Unity It has no value or merit as a real game. This was published by a shell/dummy account from Fabio Cunha, a notorious asset flipper and intellectual property abuser, trying to disguise his identity by using fake Steam accounts, …

Game is completely unfinished - after you finish the 15 levels the game says "you finished early access" but on Steam Store it shows a full game (no early access tag). You fall through map, enemies glitch through walls, you can jump out of the map. Positive: Achievements seem to work to some degree. Overall: Unless you get it for free - do not bother

An unfinished game, feeling like it's made with ChatGPT. An early version of ChatGPT, not the current one

Graphics are mess, hitboxes another mess, level design is another mess. It is hell of a messy game. If you like to torture yourself,go ahead and play it...

If you can grab this game for a euro or less, it’s definitely a hidden treasure. The mechanics are simple, but there's a quirky charm to it—especially when you jump under a ceiling and end up outside the map. From there, you can gather all the enemies in one big group and watch as they helplessly walk into walls, which is oddly satisfying and hilarious. For such a low price, the game offers some fun, light-hearted moments, and while it’s not perfect, it’s definitely worth picking up if you're into these kinds of quirky, offbeat experiences.
