I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. The game is nice but gets quite repetitive after like 10 minutes

This is a super cool game but one thing I wish that the jump button was space not j but other than that it was worth $1

Despite the claims to otherwise, this game is actually a runner and with the lack of overall progress perception, it might as well be an endless runner. In addition, the default controls are VERY poorly optimized for controller play. The devs also have a poor understanding of game flow, otherwise, you wouldn't be booted back to the title screen and have to go through multiple clicks to get started again every time you die. This is the type of game I'd expect to see in the free shovelware category of mobile games. X(

If Flappy Bird and an infinite runner had a minimalist baby, it'd be Parallels. The gameplay is fairly simple, though pretty hard. As others have said, checkpoints are too far apart, maybe this could've been made a difficulty setting. The game looks great imo, runs and plays smoothly. It does feel like a mobile game however. I don't think it's worth the asking price, the gameplay is far too simple for that, but it's well-made enough and if this is what you're looking for then it's not bad or anything. 6/10
