Game is very forgiving and has a very comfy nature to it. Its a fun plat-former where you get cubes to stack and take down to tackle various platforming puzzles in the map. You can also upgrade to carry more blocks or unlock segments of the map. Its a push and pull progression system that feels nice as you are able to reach more and more of the map going up. Fun exploratory puzzle platformer! I got to place down light blocks and use them for climbing, I got to collect light fruits and petals to expand my number of light blocks. There are elements to this game that feels like a mini-metroidvania. Because I'm exploring a big 2D cave that has certain obstacles that need things I don't have yet, or I just need more blocks.

A kid runs after a bird and falls into a hole. This was all planned by the bird, which needs the kid’s help to save villagers who were turned to stone. It turns out the kid has a cool ability to store boxes in his pockets, and this creates a nice mechanic for exploring the map and looking for several things that will help you save everyone. The keyboard is used for movement and jumping, while the mouse is used to handle boxes. To collect a box, move the mouse cursor over it and click the right mouse button. You can then use the left mouse button to drop it anywhere you want. The only restriction is that it must be placed within the area currently visible on the screen, but distance and line of sight do not matter. You can place a box on the other side of a wall, below you, or above you. You can even drop a box, which is actually made of light, on top of your character because it will not hurt you. Boxes can also be stacked on top of each other, allowing you to jump through them one by one to reach higher platforms. Cute little pixel art puzzle platformer that I got stuck in like the second area. The light box stacking was an interesting take on puzzle/platforming while not feeling to tedious. My biggest issue was that once I got to the area with the first tribesmen that needed to be watered I could not find my way to the next objective. This was either my own issue or a glitch that prevented me from progressing. I spent like 10 minutes running around the level looking for the next puzzle/area but could not find anything. Still a recommend.

Super cool puzzles. A real noddle baking here. The graphics, although simplistic, has charm and cohesion. Interesting and non-violent gameplay for the ones looking for a complex problem solving, where you have to optimize your path in order to have enough "mana" for the task. Despite the total mess when using an Xbox Controller on Windows, the experience is a breeze using mouse and keyboard. Recommended.

The core gameplay—building and retrieving block stacks carefully to navigate vertical puzzles—is clever, thoughtful, and never feels unfair. 🌟 What stands out: - Charming pixel art and soothing atmosphere - Inventive mechanics with light boxes, water jars, spirit quests - Hidden paths & progression loops that reward exploration ⚠️ A few tricky bits: You can't rebind keys which is annoying when you don't have a QWERTY keyboard, and my controler didn't seems to work out the block placements. Overall, I’m hooked — Perimbó neatly balances cozy exploration with brainy platform puzzles. Highly recommended!
