Generally positive about the game. I'm not particular good at these kinds of games so I played it on easy (also because I felt it was hard to track some of the attacks as they're not that telegraphed relative to all the clutter on the screen). I was mostly just playing bc I wanted to experience the story. Speaking of, I mostly like the story with the caveat that the game supposes you played P5 at least. Exploring AI and its uses and the morality of it was a bit ahead of its time, and has become more poignant after the explosion of AI into culture and most people's way of life. Some of the conversations we have today are talked about in this game, and it was kinda cool to see. I really liked the new characters, Zenkichi and Sophia, especially the former. I think it's easy to see Persona as a medium to explore what it means for kids to grow up but I think using it to show how grown ups can still learn and "unlock their true selves" is cool too. Also he's just rad af. The gameplay is fine. Hackin and Slashin is neat and all. I feel like it's really easy to eat through SP and then wish you had a way to passively recover it or something (maybe there is but I just missed it, if so sorry…1 found this helpful
A good sequel to Persona 5. If you love the Phantom Thieves, you'll love this game. It's not JUST a spinoff. While the story make lack the depth of the original persona 5's, it still is a worthwhile tale to see through. The Warriors style gameplay is also fun.
Great sequal i like the new combat and the soundtracks are even better! The scramble soundtracks are so good. Its not for the average JRPG player id say it plays a bit like a god of war title in some ways. If thats not your cup of tea then i dont reccomend it. The story is also great it has some really good palace rulers and the addition of jails. The plot twist in the end is also really good. Overall this sequal was just nice i liked it even if others didnt. This game has style, flashy combat, the awesome phantom thieves, a great soundtrack and a great story.
you ever play a game so bad that you gotta rub your belly highkey
the characters in this game remind me of the ones in persona 5 royal
