Personality Dating Sim is not a game, it's a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". To answer that question: When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This E-book features Choose-Your-Own-Adventure elements where you make some decisions that don't do anything to change the fact this is just an E-Book. Nobody finished reading a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure book and said "Boy, what a great game I just played!". Because E-books aren't games. And neither is this. This remarkably badly written E-book has an equally terrible premise, the protagonist in this would-be novel dates various colours that represent personalities. I dunno what I was expecting but anyway it was cheap. Kept forgetting not to type apostrophes and I had to keep replaying cos the game crashed every time I typed an ' in my responses, which I naturally did several times. If you treat it as some type of interactive story it's ok I'm supposed, not the usual dating sim.

I like what this game is trying to do but there's just no substance... You can complete one "route" in like 5 minutes and it's just not entertaining enough to bother trying to fill out the gallery. Trust me I tried. I got all of 6 endings before I got bored and quit. This game has an amazing premise and the potential to be amazing, but as things stand now I cannot recommend it because there just isn't anything to do. Honestly, this game isn't even a dating sim cause there's no dating to it.
