Peter's Adventures in English [Learn English]

My friend I play with said that if I post a review about the game and it gets 200 likes and 50 rewards, he'll buy me a bag of chips and a RTX 4090. So I'll leave this here.

It's charming in a simple way. There is an overabundance of low quality English learning games, so it's nice to see something that at least has a story, tries to be engaging, doesn't overcomplicate things. My young students have had great fun with it, but honestly, I enjoyed it too. The only things I would note are the CRAZY boobs and female designs despite being a very child-friendly game and... "This is not a classroom, there are no quizzes or word matching exercises." Honestly, a little review side-function to help with memorising and more complicated vocab would be helpful for beginners. Most of the dialogue is consistently simple, and then parts like the monster book and some dialogue in the City of Shadows jump out as difficulty curves. I would absolutely recommend it though.

Pros - Beautiful pixel art and nice lighting. - Charming characters and dialog - Great voice acting - Pretty decent puzzle design, I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasently surprised. It feels very like much a full point and click experience. - Simple story (its more about the journey is is typical for most point and click adventure games.) Cons - There is no way to disable the text to speech for the UI. So every button and interaction the narrator will read the action which is a bit grating at first but eventually you get used to it. - There is a bunch of extra clicking required. Like you click on the door with the hand interaction and it says open door and then you have to click again for the door to be opened. Its worse in conversations because sometimes you need to click to move the dialog forward but sometimes you don't. Sometimes the cursor changes from an hourglass to an arrow so you know when you need to click but sometimes it doesn't. In fairness you get the hang of it as the game goes on but early on I was uintentionaly skipping dialog. - There is this food and water system like a survial game and I really don't think it belongs in a point and click adventur…

Jogo excelente, e ótimo para praticar o aprendizado do idioma.

É um jogo divertidinho, legal pra quem gosta de enigmas, puzzles e é bem basico em ingles, se vc for de iintermediario pra avançado o game n ajuda muito a treinar o inglês, é mais pra basicão mesmo e se torna um pouco repetitvo. Mas no geral é um game legalznho, mas pro objetivo acho q n vale.

oyun fena değildi ama biraz daha geliştirilebilinir. oyunun akışta maceralarıyla devam etmesi güzel fakat oyun biraz zordu youtube da video izleyerek destek aldım. oyuna yönlendirici tarzında daha net bilgiler ve ipucları olsa bazı esyalarda hangi malzemelerin nerede kullanılacağına dair bilgiler ingilizce ve resimli olarak verilirse çok güzel bir oyun olur.
