Physical Exorcism: Case 01

bruce and jade are so silly

fun twist to have exorcists be so sleezy

The writing definitely feels like 2018. Combat was very much traditional RPG maker combat for better or for worse. The newer entries in the physical exorcism series are much better but on the bright side, that goes to show how much the devs have improved. Its only really worth getting if you want to play the entire series but I can't really recommend it as a standalone game.

The combat sucks. The writing is pretty bad and mostly shallow. The graphics are the ones that came with RPG maker except for like 6 CGs and the talk sprites. I mostly am attached to Jade and Brucie from the previous entry in this series. However, I undeniably had fun playing this. That may have been because I was playing with friends, but I'm still invested enough to check out the other games in the series.

The game is weaker compared to other entries (it's the first one, so hey), but it's still amusing in its own way.

None of the characters felt likable to me. Maybe that’s just because I didn’t get the humor, but still it just doesn’t sit right with me that noone actually cared about the bullying, I feel like that plotline was there just for haha moments.
