Pickochet

Not worth playing. There is not really a game here. You buy a couple pointless upgrades and start your run, then go do something else for 5-10 minutes and then end it and buy a couple more pointless upgrades. You do this until you've bought all the pointless upgrades to unlock the next area, where you must buy more pointless upgrades that are more expensive. The active abilities are useless. Clicking is meaningless. Nothing about this experience was enjoyable, and even having it run in the background was an imposition.

Good game. Simple incremental, that's a lot of fun. Go buy and play, you won't regret it.

Boring. I usually type a lot for these games, but this is just so dull. You watch a pickaxe bounce off the sides of the screens and eventually get upgrades. It takes a long time to get anything that matters, expect to wait, or just leave it on in the background while you do something else. Is it worth spending a fiver on something you're going to leave on in the background? There are free games you can do that with. A minor gripe: The game calls you boy... that irks me... First off, not a boy, second off I'm 32 at time of writing, don't belittle me. This is basically just coming back every 10 minutes to click on a bunch of meaningless upgrades and then starting another run. I've played a lot of incremental games, and given a lot of reviews for them (Mostly negative, I'll be honest.) This one is one of the most bare bones ones I've played yet. There's just no gameplay here. There are abilities, but passive ones are preferable. Because quite frankly... looking at this game is dire. Just leave it in the background, or better yet, refund it. Fun, silly incremental/clicker game. Not the best I've played, but it's worth buying. The graphics are fun and very satisfying. The upgrade tree as well. I had a long run time because I just let it go in the background while I did other stuff for the day. Nice brain break in between work/chores.

Unfortunately I can't recommend this game. I've been playing incremental games over and over. 100%ing them and seeing if the games are interesting and what not. This one is just mostly a passive one with a few clicking abilities. Ores will spawn around the field and then the pickaxe will break them over time. Eventually getting more and more pickaxes I was hoping the tree would have gave more choice and what not. It's just collect everything for each 'mine' research then move to the next tier. It's just rinse repeat. Until you get 100% of everything. There isn't much build crafting other than a few passives. Using goblins, dice or coins. That all do the similar things. Game does feel like it needs more work.
