PiLKO

PiLKO is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This shovelware platformer is possibly one of the laziest I've seen, to the point I can be immediately confident this is in no way, shape or form, an asset flip. Because asset flips are higher quality than this lazy junk. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old minimalist retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. As special note here, the developer was so lazy/inept they just made all the objects in the game squares, circles and rectangles. Tell us you can't do the job of a game developer without actually saying it! It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will …

An entertaining platformer that adds new mechanics or obstacles every 5-10 levels. Overall, the game isn't that difficult and has an appropriate length for the cost, lasting just under 1 hour for myself. A $1 well spent.

Pretty fun platforming game, haven't finished it yet but so far it's really fun

A very fun platformer that really challenged my abilities, though seasoned platform players might not struggle as much. The bright colors are appealing without being overwhelming, and I felt a real sense of accomplishment solving many of the later levels. It’s absolutely worth the price, and overall, it’s an enjoyable gaming experience. Definitely recommend for platforming fans looking for a fun challenge!
