Planetbound

This is a fun button mashing game and nothing else. [h1]Pros[/h1] [list] [*]Easy to grasp [*]Simple [*]Can pick it up or stop playing at any time [*]I like the sprites and animations, simple but pleasant. [/list] [h1]Cons[/h1] [list] [*]Can't get to the main menu until you die or restart the game. [*]The game is impossible to play on the default settings, the screenshaking is way too intense and snappy. [*]The planet decays way too quickly IMO, if that's part of the difficulty then I understand but it's too much for me. I think it would be better to make the damage the ships do increase over time. The first ships being very very weak, barely able to do anything. It would make the game more gratifying to play in the later stages. [/list] No I do not recommend this game. It is far too simple and uninspiring. There are better time wasting games out there but if you are looking to buy a game just to boost your game count, or just something to mess around with while you wait to find a match in another game, pick it up when it's on sale.

Please provide a better tutorial on how to upgrade your planet and such functions. There is no in-game tutorial either...

It needs a bit more polish before it's as accessible as say, downwell...but it's charming and fun in its own, minimal way.

This game definitely has a steep learning curve, which stopped me from playing it for a while, but once you learn how the game actually works it becomes a lot of fun. It has some drawbacks, like how upgrading anything but weapons at the beginning leads to instant death, and the default settings being weird, but it also has some fun gameplay, oodles of replayability, and bunch of weapons and enemies. Furthermore, this game looks great and I have yet to encounter any bugs in it. In short: Worth the two dollars you should get it.

I lost all my patience with this game, 100 % recommend
