"Polychromatic" is a very low effort minimalist SpaceWar!/Asteroids ripoff, fight waves of minimalist enemies and wonder what you're doing with your life when you could be playing Counter Strike 2 or GTA:V or something decent. This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy" and looks bad as a result of their lack of interest in doing their job properly. Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason. And that reason is not so they can look at lazy, phoned-in half efforts like this. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $3 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Игра 'Polychromatic' - это небольшая, но увлекательная головоломка, посвященная манипуляциям со светом и цветом. Она отличается минималистичным, но очень приятным визуальным стилем, который не отвлекает от игрового процесса. Геймплей строится на преломлении лучей света через призмы, смешивании цветов и направлении полученного света к нужным целям. Сначала задачи кажутся простыми, но постепенно сложность нарастает, заставляя серьезно поломать голову. В целом, игра очень расслабляющая и медитативная, прекрасно подходит для коротких игровых сессий. Хотя в ней нет сюжета или повествования, сам процесс решения головоломок очень удовлетворяет. Хотелось бы, конечно, больше уровней, так как игра проходится довольно быстро. Кроме того, иногда бывает сложно точно настроить положение призм, что немного раздражает. Несмотря на небольшие недостатки, 'Polychromatic' - отличная игра для любителей головоломок. Рекомендую тем, кто ищет что-то красивое, умное и не слишком сложное.
