What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players unanimously criticize this release as not being a game at all, describing it as merely a 3D model viewer with a rotatable pong board and virtually no gameplay, controls, goals, or meaningful content. Common complaints include the complete lack of mechanics, scoring, options, or any reason to engage with the product, with reviewers noting that viewing 3D models on dedicated websites would provide more interaction. The general sentiment is that this is an asset flip or joke product with no legitimate gaming value whatsoever.
This is easily one of the worst things I have ever seen on Steam so far. This is not an asset flop as much as it is just a single asset and a viewer to look at it in 3D. This is some incredibly pretentious trash at best. There is less than 1 second of gameplay (AKA There is no gameplay). There are no controls, you can click in the circle area to rotate the 3D model. There is very limited animations inside the 3D model but no point in any of it. There is no scoring, no way to score and no reason to think you should. There are no options. There are no goals. There is no reason at all to get this. Go to a 3D Mesh / Model website that has more than 1 object for sale. View 2 objects on that website. That website has just given you more "gameplay" than "Ponglike" ever possibly could... how pathetic is that. Have people uploaded all the asset templates already, so now we're going to be seeing just assets themselves uploaded.. Is that where we're at now? Brutal.. I've noticed that a bunch of curators have given this a positive review. I have no idea why... Are they fake curators? Are they paid off by the "developer"? Do they really find an asset with no game or gameplay to be really …13 found this helpful
This is not a game at all, there is nothing to "play". This is literally a pong game loaded into unity and a circle you use to rotate the pong board. That is all it is, nothing else. This is something you buy a friend as a joke gift maybe? I cannot see any possible use for this "game". The worst thing about it is that you have to use this product for at least 5 minutes in order to leave a review. I literally just left it sitting there for 3 of those minutes, it only took me 2 minutes to figure out that this is just a shell and not a game, or anything really.7 found this helpful
