Rating: 8.6/10 Potatoman Seeks the Troof is a charming and surprisingly challenging indie platformer that combines weird humor, retro visuals, and clever level design into a unique adventure. Following a potato on a journey to discover the ultimate "TROOF", the game constantly surprises with its creativity, strange world, and memorable moments. Despite its short length, it delivers a personality that many bigger games fail to achieve.
I'm surprised this game has that many positive reviews. I won't be giving it one. I suppose if you like it, good for you. Perspective of things (anything) is subjective. But this isn't my type of game. It's starts off with a direct copy of The Dino Game we all know from google when there's no service. Phase 1 doesn't change much it all. I know it gets better, but it's starts of as a copy. Also way too difficult. I beat it without dying, but it's really more work than required. Not worth the pain. I doubt many people played fair. Almost everyone probably used that cheat guide. And that's all for 1 ACHIEVEMENT! You'd have to replay it all for the other achievement. Way too unnecessary. Beating it on hard mode should imply you can beat it on easy mode too. The rewards should stack but they don't. If i didn't get this game for free, I would not have played it. A waste of 5-ish dollars. (More like 3.99, but 5 is a basic counting number. By 5s, so I round). Personally, I wouldn't go out of my way to play this. But if you, like it, good for you. Maybe buy this game on sale only. There are better games out there. But there are also far worse. This game isn't terrible. Just nothing …
the troof was inside of us all along
A silly bullet hell that constantly makes you wonder what and why are you playing, but you're probably still playing it a little bit more after. It's dumb fun!
Another make the game hard for no other but mazochistic reasons
Definitely a fun, short little platformer. The RNG can get tedious at times, but at no point does the game get impossible nor impossibly hard. Unless you go for a no-death run. Then you have my condolences and my respects. Oh, right. Worth a buy especially at this price. If you like platformers, you won’t regret it.
