Pretty Girls Breakout!

How do we make Breakout more fun and innovative? I know, let's add a bunch of annoying features and throw a whole bunch of ♥♥♥♥ at the player so they're just constantly mashing the swing button and can't properly aim. Everyone loves when you take the skill out of game and make it so it's pure luck. Also, no paddle. You have to swing a bat at the ball. I'll admit, Zoo games are not that... deep. Lots of them are cookie cutter and share UI and characters so if you seen one you've kind of seen them all, but the games are usually so classic that you can't really muck them up. Casio card games, various forms of Mahjong, some random puzzles games. Simple games that are cheap that you usually buy because you like the genre and you figure why not add some cute anime girls to them for the heck of it. Pretty Girls Breakout felt more annoying than fun and I actually do kind of like Zoo games. Even the ones I don't like I kind of just see as innocent fun, but... I just didn't like this. Even the girls didn't help out in this one as many of the outfits were just plain boring. Way too many shrine maidens and yukatas. Characters were probably from some game about shrine maidens. Easily the crappiest breakout clone ever.

A bit button mashy in later levels, but easy enough for a breakout novice like me to complete within a couple hours. I mainly recommend this to achievement hunters for an easy 100%.

Thank you to Zoo Corporation for the Free Code to review this game! Honestly this game was everything I was hoping it would be. A fresh cover of an old tried and true game style. If you're a fan of games like Brick Break, Arcanoid, or any other variation of the Ball and Paddle brick breaker game style, you'll love this manic take. The game starts off easy with each set of stages to reintroduce you into the game, and as you beginning to unlock more levels the game starts to ramp up in difficulty. By the end of it you're slamming that button on your keyboard/controller so fast you're wondering if you're playing Mario Party minigames. The addition of cute anime girls was definitely a good choice to entice viewers to check out this game, and then be rewarded with fun gameplay that will keep on your toes. No paid to unlock anything like that, just keep playing, break those bricks, and unlock cute outfits for your favorite waifus. For a wonderfully low price you get exactly what you're shown in this game. Took me about 1.5 hours to beat, but with how fun the game is I will be replaying this later on my off times just to have some more fun. You don't need much to improve on a timeles…
