I am torn for this review. There are things I really like about Primal Frost and things I do not. Things I like: 1. Sounds. The running through the snow sounds pretty good. The gun firing and reloading sounds great. When you get attacked, it sounds pretty authentic for someone getting ripped apart by man eating dinos. 2. Dinos. There are two types and they both have good mechanics and behave as you would expect a small budget game to behave. Things I don't like: 1. Headshots. In most games a headshot kills an enemy with one shot. This does happen in the game but it seems random. I've hit three dinos in the head and one of them died in one shot, one died with two shots, and the third took four shots (yes all in the head) to die. That's crummy mechanics. I understand the game is supposed to be challenging but there needs to be consistancy. Overall, I'd give the game 2.5 out of 5. Its not bad, but its not amazing. I will recommend the game because, hey, I don't know how to make a video game and it shows creativity and the will to market an idea. That's pretty cool.
