God this game is so frustratingly unresponsive, I can barely get further than 5000 points cause the jump key just outright fails to work, even after getting into the habbit of waiting a good 100-200ms after landing the jump key often fails or doesn't work properly. The visuals are also quite harsh to look at but the game is free and its certainly not the worst game I've ever played, if you don't care about achievements, leaderboards and getting occasionally ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for no reason you can probably find some fun in this.

Prismatix is a small endless runner that takes a pretty simple idea and adds shooting and platforming to it. I am trying to keep moving across platforms above the Spectrum Lake while avoiding falling, dealing with enemies and picking up power ups along the way. There is no big story or complicated campaign here. The main goal is simply to survive for as long as I can and keep pushing my high score. I actually like that because I can understand what I am doing almost immediately. The movement is simple, but the game does a decent job of making me pay attention once things start speeding up. I have to judge my jumps properly while also dealing with enemies, and falling into the lake ends the run. The different enemies and power ups give me something else to think about instead of making the whole experience nothing more than jumping between platforms. I like the basic loop because a failed run is quick to restart, so I never feel like I have wasted a huge amount of time. The colourful visual style is probably the thing that stands out most to me. Идеально подходит для коротких "перекусов" во время обеденного перерыва или долгих вечерних сессий – игра затягивает всерьез и надолго. Музыкальное сопровождение ненавязчивое и отлично дополняет атмосферу спокойного, но в то же время напряженного размышления. Уровни разнообразны и постепенно усложняются, что позволяет игроку плавно погрузиться в механику и осваивать новые стратегии. Единственный небольшой минус – может не хватать каких-то дополнительных режимов или опций кастомизации, но в целом это отличная, захватывающая и очень умная головоломка, которую я рекомендую всем любителям жанра. Абсолютно стоит своих денег и времени!
