✦ AI summary
Players appreciate PRISM as a focused, skill-based speedrunning platformer with tight movement mechanics and satisfying spell combos that reward mastery and strategy discovery. However, reviewers consistently note the game feels extremely barebones with limited content and levels compared to other speedrunning titles, and some feel the minimal presentation and quick playtime don't justify revisiting it over more substantial alternatives despite its low price point.
PRISM, created by Mathieu Schmerber and Lucas Deutschmann, is a tightly focused first-person platformer that revolves almost entirely around movement mastery and speed. Rather than building its experience around story or exploration, it places players into a series of compact levels designed to test precision, timing, and the ability to chain mechanics together into smooth, efficient runs. A typical game made from free assets — just speedrunning parkour maps. Cringe. I suggest the developer go find fulfillment in Fortnite or Roblox instead.2 found this helpful

The game is "OK" it's extremely barebones but that's pretty much what's expected when paying $1 for a game. The game kinda just throw you in when you open the game. Is the game fun to play for about an hour? Yeah but would I play this over other speedrunning games, No. There are demos to other speedrunning games with more than quadruple the amount of levels you can play for free that feel better. Again the game is $1 so it's a good time killer if you're bored.2 found this helpful
