After playing the first game, Prison Princess 2 is definitely an improvement. I like the game because I can solve the puzzles myself without googling for guides. The puzzles in the first game frustrates me. While the second game is a bit challenging, if you pay close attention, you can solve it. This satisfies me. As for story-wise, I feel like I'm missing the lore somewhere between the ending of first game to start of second game. I hope we will get a interlude on how the 2 Princesses recruits their party members. As for fan services, there isn't much. The princesses found in awkward position, you touch their body, they reacts. No matter how many times you touch them, the respond is the same, it get bored quickly. I wish the princesses will react differently after an amount of interaction. Eg, 'What are you doing? Keep touching my butt like that, hurry up and get me out of here.' I played this game entirely on steam deck, it plays well. Since there are multiple endings, there are replayability. If you know this series well enough, you should know that endings are tied to each princess's affection. There are affection events in the game to raise their affection but if you w…

Does not disappoint. And, oh yeah, puzzles, I guess. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) For real though, chill and relaxing basic adventure. Puzzles are easy, but still probably better than what AAA games call puzzles.

Loved the game and all of the scenarios you had to help the girls out of. The puzzles were challenging, but still fair with the hints that can be found in the game. Would have wished for the game to be a bit longer, for some options to tease the trapped girls or something beside solving the puzzles and some optional hidden locations or scenes in the game to reward replaying it more.

I honestly did not think this game would become part of a franchise, but I am glad it did. This is the second game in the "Princess Princess" series and it is just as fun to play as the first game. At it's core, this is a point and click adventure game with fan service. The story is expanded on from the original as they added a new princess as well as the wielders of the holy artifacts. Even though most players will see the big "twist" coming a mile away, it still is an enjoyable story and the main heroines each have their own charms, especially the new princess Juliette. One thing I think this game handles better than the first are the puzzles. Thanks to the memo's, I actually managed to solve every puzzle without having to consult a guide and it was a very rewarding feeling. The puzzles in the first game (well, most point and click games I play really) fall into one of three categories. 1: a quick glance and the answer becomes apparent. 2: trying a few different things and the "ah-ha" moment occurs. 3: How the hell was I supposed to figure that out? This game avoided that entirely and it is a welcomed change. My only real complaint about the game is that the character p…

It's short, I'm writing this right after finishing it in one sitting. And I'd honestly like to see a bit more complexity in the puzzles/puzzle rooms. Often I would only have one item and only one place to use it. And the translation is a little rough, but perfectly serviceable and never anything that gets in the way of the puzzles, mostly just some awkward wording here and there, and several instances of a female character being called "he". However if you are fine with all of that, it's a very cute echii game that gives you that fun puzzle solving satisfaction of slowly undoing the puzzlebox you find yourself in. If that sounds like your kind of thing and you are fine with the current price to time ratio on it, I'd suggest it.

Damn, Hero sure ends up as phantom lot! Are we sure he isn't enjoing it? Anyway, I shall wait for another game in the series! Oh, and make sure to add Demon King into our harem!
