I really want to like this game but it feels very unfinished. The dev stopped updating the game years ago so I'm not expecting any improvements. - At first it seems like there is a lot of weapon variety, but it only takes a few runs until you've already experienced every ability/weapon in the whole game and there are no later unlocked weapons. - Mech variety is nice at least, they do all feel different to play as which is good. - The game is way too slow paced for this genre, any other vampire survivors-like game feel way more engaging than this one. - Most games of this genre have objectives, interactables, and/or things to explore on the map. This has none of that, just survive.2 found this helpful
Survivor-like without auto-aim but with auto-fire. Sub-par music. But otherwise ok, so if you want any new survivor-like the price is ok.
One of my favorite VS style games.
Just don't buy it. Like many others said, this is lacking in every aspect, except maybe graphics. Content, gameplay, enemy variety... hell, even the controls aren't so great. In fact, depending on the mech you pick, the controls can be downright horrendous. It is, by nature, a grindy, time wasting survivor knock-off, without any real substance or sense of progress. A hand full of stages with typical endless mode attached, a hand full of the same enemies and in about 5 hours of gameplay you have seen everything, this has to offer. The rest is just ridiculous grind to get the even more ridiculous credit achievements. There also seems to be a sequel to this. From the looks on the store page it looks even worse than the original. I certainly won't buy another game from this dev.
Nice bullet heaven
It's a great Survivors game, at a good price. It has some unique things about it to differentiate itself from other games in the Survivors genre. For instance, if you want the upgrade to absorb nearby XP. You'll have to equip it, in order for it to take effect. Normally that would annoy the heck out of me, but they do it in a way that makes sense. Plenty of Mechs to unlock, each with it's own unique ability. Well worth the few bucks.
